Building CREDIBILITY In Business: People Buy From Or Join Those They LIKE And TRUST

I've been a veteran of the Home Biz And Direct Sales industry for over 19 yrs. now. And there's been Many lessons that I have learned. But one thing I've learned that really stands out is HOW to be a Person that others Like And Trust.
There is no Secret to doing this at all, in fact it's really just common sense and goes back to even Biblical beginnings as well as early childhood: You treat others the way you want to be treated. "People may forget what you say and even what you do; But they will NEVER forget the way you make them FEEL" Paraphrase from Maya Angelou. This is Really True in business as well as in life. In order for you to build Credibility, you have to First be Genuine in WHO you are. You have to have the Right motives for being in business. This is what Draws others to you. Not in some Mystical way, but people are drawn to people they feel have something they need that can help them.
There are Way Too many people out here in the Home biz, MLM or Direct Sales industry who are here for the Wrong Reasons and doing the Exact opposite of what I just said.
This is very plain when they meet potential clients, they Pounce on them like a Lion shoving a link or their business down the prospective clients throat. This is a Huge No-No because you don't even know WHO they are.
To build Credibility in business and have Real lasting Success, you have to build a rapport with people before you present your business to them. One wise gentleman said it this way: "Don't FOCUS on the Sale, Focus on "IF" there is a Sale to be made" - Max Steingart. Very wise words!!
People only buy from or join people they like and trust so Trust has to be earned before you start presenting your product or business to someone. You have to Slow Down and Take the time to learn Who your client is and what they already know. If you present your biz too soon, you may offend people who have the same service or product maybe even the same biz you're offering or even if they don't, you offend them by not taking the time to know them First before presenting your biz.
People DON'T care How Much you know till they KNOW How Much you CARE.
What you're looking for is what is Best for your potential client and seeing "IF" you even have something that even meets their needs. Help that person find what is Genuinely good for them.
So in Conclusion, here's how you Build Credibility the Right Way and find what's best for your client:

It puts you in front of People 24 Hours a Day - 7 Days a Week - 365 Days A Year!! People see you in action: they Connect with you and learn to Like and Trust you. They will then seek you out for help or for what you're offering in the video. You build Real Credibility here. THIS WORKS!!

If for some reason you don't like videos, when you connect with a prospective client through Facebook, a blog... etc: First REMEMBER, it's all about them: Get to know WHO they are by asking key questions like: Are you new to Home businesses or have you done them before?; What business are you currently doing?; Is it affiliate or Network Marketing?; What drew you to the business?; How long have you done the business?; Are you doing it full-time?; What makes you Passionate about this business? - This of course comes after asking obvious questions like name, if they have kids, if they're

  2. Get lost in your client and their story showing genuine concern in what they have to say or Get to know them.

  3. Finally, Share ideas and interact with them and if you have experience in certain areas, share that. In the sharing of ideas, it will become clear if they are in need of what you have to offer, if they have something you need or if they will just be a fellow business person you've met in the industry. Either one of these is OK.
The key to building Credibility here is connecting with people and finding out what THEIR needs are and finding the best way or ways to meet them. And the more your prospective client interacts with you and sees that you are genuinely into them and striving to help them and you have Resources that they feel they need.
You have now successfully built credibility with them. And they will seek you out because of the relationship you've now built and the information that they feel you can offer to them. But they'll NEVER know what you have to offer if you pounce on them right after meeting them.
In fact, when you build Rapport And Credibility with people the Right way; you won't even have to share what you have to offer. Because of the RELATIONSHIP you have built, they will ask you about your business naturally!! I know this from Experience.
